C Programming for Arduino
This level of robotics places a heavier emphasis on programming then RS01, but students will still gain experience with the Arduino and electronic circuits. This level is for students from age 9-13 with little or no experience in Arduino with interest in improving their C programming ability. Although this class is taught online, students will run simulated hardware including the Arduino controller, LEDs, LCDs, Buttons, sensors, and resistors. Students will gain proficiency with C syntax including if-statements, function calls, arithmetic, loops, string, and arrays.
Prerequisites: This online class uses ktbyte virtual machines like the core computer science class. Students will need high speed internet connection, webcam, microphone/headset, and a quiet place to take the class. All hardware will be virtually through the simulator, and the purchase of a kit is not required.
